Community Project Updates

We hope you are enjoying this great Spring weather. Please find some updates on projects underway within the community:

• Dog Park Enhancements - the cement pad was poured, and four benches were placed within the park. Additionally, two additional dog stations have been installed. We are close to finalizing a permanent shade structure and look to have this installed within 4-6 weeks.

• Beavers and Beaver Dam - Most of the beavers have been trapped and removed. The beaver dam and den removal has begun and will continue throughout this week. This has already relieved the water backup causing the sidewalk flooding issue.

• Flooded sidewalk - a temporary bridge has been installed until beaver dam removal has been completed. Upon completion, we will reassess the need and/or priority for sidewalk demolition and rebuild.

• Culvert Project #2 - several recent walkthroughs with the Board, management, and vendors have resulted in clear direction. An updated bid based upon the revised RFP will be presented to the Board in early April with construction beginning mid-April.

• Volleyball Court - The Board has approved "fencing" around the ends of the court as well as lighting to be installed. The sand will be tilled on a regular basis and then reassessed for a new professional sand replacement. The demolition and rebuild of the court in different direction has proved to be cost prohibited.

• Erosion at Barts Place Cul de Sac - work will begin to clear the sidewalk and install an erosion fence along the perimeter. The Board has requested plans and bids to regrade the entire area to prevent from happening in the future.
